For check-in or pre-registration at Einstein units

Identification, registration, bank and health data, such as full name, date of birth, nationality, identity document, CPF, gender, full address, telephone, email, marital status, health insurance information, religion, doctor's name, medications in use, among others

In the case of online check-in for examination, you must attach the corresponding medical order, with health information and identification of the responsible professional, such as name, CRM number and signature

To schedule home care services

Identification data, such as full name, identity document, CPF, full address, date of birth, gender, marital status, email, telephone and health information necessary for the service

For care at health units and preparation of the medical record

Registration, identification data, such as full name, identity document, CPF, copies of ID document, full address, date of birth, gender, marital status, religion, email, telephone, health plan card and its copy, bank information (if applicable) and health information

For invasive medical procedures and blood donation

Identification data, health data and signature of an Informed Consent Form (ICF), to enable the user or third party to be informed about the procedure to be performed

For communications with the Call Center and others

Identification data, such as full name, telephone and email

Contact, registration and health data:

 

  • when necessary, your consent will be collected by signing the ICF or the Informed Assent Form (IAF)
  • the researcher may have their data processed to enable, execute and monitor the project, including in efforts to obtain financing or approval from competent bodies, including: registration data, contact data, bank details, financial data, professional data (curriculum, CRM, institution to which they are linked, position, sector, registration number, among others), access credentials data (e.g. user and password) and signature
     

In addition to these purposes, it is also possible to process your data to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, defend the organization's interests in lawsuits and respond to official letters and complaints registered with the International Patient Center and supervisory bodies

When data is collected from minors, the treatment also serves the best interest of the child and/or adolescent

Caring is safety

Just as the organization is dedicated to providing the best treatment and care to patients, it puts equal effort into caring for their information

For this purpose, Einstein uses the best protection techniques to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access and misappropriation of personal data

In addition, the data are kept for a period necessary to achieve the informed purposes and in accordance with the legal deadlines 
 

Caution: unfortunately, there are some risks, especially when it comes to data circulation on an open internet network. Therefore, the recommendation is that you use appropriate security measures to navigate Einstein's platforms, such as not sharing passwords with third parties and avoiding public wi-fi networks

  • Einstein's website uses:

    •    session cookies: expire when you close your browser 
    •    persistent cookies: these remain on your computer even after you log out and can be removed by following your internet browser's instructions
    •    web flags (web bugs, clear gifs or pixels): small graphics that are invisibly embedded in web pages, with a unique identifier of the content viewed to understand which of them are most efficient

  • Correct incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data 

  • Anonymize, block or delete unnecessary, excessive or processed data in violation of the proposed purpose and legislation

  • Ask for the portability of your data to other companies, as long as this does not violate Einstein's intellectual property or trade secrets

  • Know who your data is shared with

  • Understand exclusively automated decisions and, if necessary, ask for explanations of the criteria used (observing trade and industrial secrets)

  • Have the possibility not to provide your consent, when applicable, and know any consequences of the refusal

  • Request the revocation of consent and the deletion of the data processed by virtue of this consent, except in the event of a legal or regulatory obligation that prevents the deletion
