Unlike tests that are recommended only in cases of clinical suspicion, Predicta enables risk mapping and supports early decision-making regarding lifestyle habits, complementary exams, and personalized care.

Predicta Plans

Einstein offers different Genetic Check-up options to meet a variety of profiles and needs. Predicta can be performed through saliva or blood collection, with different levels of genetic analysis coverage. The available plans range from the evaluation of specific genes to complete genome sequencing, with medical support and continuous updates of the results. A Genetic Consultation is also available, providing guidance on the most appropriate tests and the interpretation of reports.

    Does identifying a genetic alteration mean the disease will develop?

    No. A genetic alteration indicates risk but does not determine the development of a disease. Individualized medical evaluation helps clarify the impact of that alteration.

    Is medical follow-up required after completing the Genetic Check-up?

    Yes. All Predicta results should be discussed with a trusted physician or with Einstein specialists.

    Does knowing my genetic information help with family planning?

    Does my DNA change over the course of my life?

    No. DNA remains the same from birth. What may change is gene expression, which is influenced by environmental factors.

    Do I need to fast before taking a genetic test at Einstein?

    No. Fasting does not interfere with gene analysis.

    What is the timeframe for receiving Genetic Check-up results?

    Einstein has established the following timelines:

    • Predicta Infinity: up to 60 days after blood collection at the unit
    • Predicta One: up to 30 days after receipt of the sample sent by mail
