Assessment conducted by a multidisciplinary team of professionals prepared to support the improvement of safety and performance in your sports practice.
Consultation with a Sports Physician
Conducted by professionals experienced in both high-performance and recreational sports. Evaluates risk factors, clinical conditions, and signs of overload that may compromise physical performance.
Consultation with a Sports Nutritionist
Assessment of dietary habits and body composition, focusing on adapting diet and supplementation to the type of sport practiced, with the goal of improving health and performance.
Consultation with a Sports Physiotherapist
Includes postural and movement analysis using the Functional Movement Systems (FMS) method, with the objective of preventing injuries and contributing to better sports performance.
Personalized Feedback from the Einstein Sports Team
After the exams and assessments, the patient receives an individualized action plan, developed jointly by the multidisciplinary team. Feedback can be provided in person or via telemedicine, with guidance for safe and effective progression in sports practice.

Patient Guidelines
The Sports Check-up is contracted on a private basis and includes important recommendations for its completion:
• bring a photo ID and your health insurance card.
• the average expected duration is approximately five hours.
If you have additional exams requested by your physician, please inform the customer service center in advance to assess the possibility of scheduling them on the same day.
• cancellations of the check-up or the follow-up consultation must be communicated in advance to the customer service center.
• present a list of all medications and supplements currently in use.
• do not apply creams, ointments, or gels to the chest and abdomen starting the day before the exams.
• on the day of the check-up, arrive 15 minutes in advance, wearing sportswear. Women should wear a T-shirt, sports bra, shorts, and sneakers. Men should wear a T-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
Preparation for the Exams:
• observe a minimum fasting period of eight hours (do not exceed 14 hours). As the check-up takes place in the morning, a light meal is recommended up to 7:00 a.m., consisting of teas, juices, or fruits.
• it is not necessary to discontinue regular medications, unless advised by a physician.
• for the ergospirometry test, do not smoke for two hours before and one hour after the procedure.
• avoid intense physical activity during the 12 hours prior to the check-up.
• bioimpedance results may be affected during the menstrual period. If possible, schedule the exam for a different date.
Contraindications:
• the Sports Check-up should not be performed by patients with fever or acute infections. Please wait until recovery to reschedule.
• medical authorization is required to undergo the check-up in cases of recent surgery, during pregnancy, or in the postpartum period.

The Einstein Sports Check-up is recommended for all levels of sports practice, from beginners to athletes. It helps prevent injuries and improve performance in your sports routine.
What is the difference between a traditional check-up and a sports check-up?
The traditional Einstein Check-up focuses on overall health. The Sports Check-up is aimed at sports performance, with consultations and exams specifically designed for people who engage in physical activities.
Which professionals are involved in the Sports Check-up?
The team is specialized in sports and includes:
- sports physician
- sports nutritionist
- physiotherapist focused on movement
Which exams are included in the Einstein Sports Check-up?
The check-up includes several laboratory tests, such as: complete blood count with platelets, ferritin, total cholesterol and fractions, triglycerides, glucose, AST (TGO), ALT (TGP), type I urinalysis, free testosterone, TSH, CPK, sodium, potassium, urea, and creatinine. It also includes:
- doppler echocardiogram: evaluates the structure of the heart and recommends adjustments to physical training if necessary
- ergospirometry test: measures cardiorespiratory capacity to guide training intensity
- foot pressure test (baropodometry): analyzes weight distribution on the feet, helping to prevent injuries
- bioimpedance: provides a detailed assessment of body composition, including body fat percentage, lean mass (muscles, bones, and tissues), hydration level, segmental distribution (arms, legs, and trunk), and basal metabolic rate, which estimates how many calories the body burns at rest
- postural and movement assessment (FMS): analyzes movement patterns and posture to identify imbalances, limitations, or compensations that may affect performance
Is the follow-up consultation included?
Yes. The follow-up consultation can be scheduled starting on the 10th day after exam results are available. It can take place in person or via telemedicine, within a 90-day period.

Yes. Based on the results, the patient receives guidance to safely improve sports performance.
