A place where health goes beyond service delivery — it is a mission. A healthcare system built on the pillars of Care, Teaching and Education, Research and Innovation, and a solid foundation of Social Responsibility. Each of these fronts strengthens and converges to deliver well-being to an ever-growing number of people. Einstein drives positive change in both the private and public healthcare systems, not only to treat diseases but to transform lives.

From a dream to a healthcare reference
Einstein’s story began modestly, in a meeting of friends in 1955, when Dr. Manoel Tabacow Hidal presented the idea of creating a hospital. That dream became a commitment from the Jewish community: to offer the Brazilian population a benchmark in quality medical practice. Learn more about Einstein’s history, its founders, and the milestones that have shaped the organization.

Einstein Volunteering
The trajectory of Einstein Volunteering, closely linked to the hospital’s origins, is marked by initiatives that transform realities and generate knowledge. In 1959, with the beginning of the construction of Einstein Hospital, the Women’s Department of the Society was created, standing out in raising funds for the project through art auctions, fashion shows, bazaars, performances, and bingo events. These were the first actions of the Volunteering program, which continues to transform lives to this day.
CEPPS
The Center for Studies and Promotion of Health Policies (CEPPS) at Einstein has the mission of transforming the healthcare system through the production and dissemination of knowledge and the exchange of ideas. Its goal is to increase value delivery and reduce inequities, becoming a reference in supporting the development of health policies, promoting awareness, and providing reliable information to citizens, healthcare professionals, managers, and decision-makers.
